Research note
Emigrant: ship CONFIDENCE, Southampton -> Boston, 24 Apr 1638, "Nicholas Wallington, a poor boy, aged 19, of Nether Wallop". Mother Sarah Gore (sister of William Gore of Nether Wallop; his 1656 will leaves Nicholas a conditional legacy). Captured at sea by pirates ~1681, never returned. The 1942 Wallingford book's "1635" date is wrong.
